Born in Portugal I travelled to London after graduating from University in Media Studies. Once in London I specialised in Film Production with emphases on Directing and Cinematography.
Since arriving in the city I have worked in multiple projects as Camera/Lighting and Assistant Director – I have dedicated the first few years to develop technical skills focusing on production paper work and visual techniques.
I have also been a Runner for multiple major TV productions in order to get a better view of the industry both on a bigger Budget level as well as the more Commercial mind frame. There I was able to learn more industry tricks and problem solving techniques as well as develop industry connections.
Parallel I have been using my visual skills in Photography as well as is a more autonomous medium. Starting in Behind the Scenes now I am more involved with Portrait and Concept Photography as the conveying of emotions and atmospheres is what inspires me.
As well as continuing the Photographic avenue I am now looking into also dedicating more of my time to Video and Film Production and the development of creative projects as I am ready for any challenge.
