About me
Ana is a born and bred Mexican Video Editor and Filmmaker, whose experience living in richly diverse countries such as Norway, Spain, England & MĂ©xico has heavily influenced her approach to her work and creativity. Her love of strong visual storytelling led Ana to learn several disciplines across the film and communications industries such as directing, creative writing, photography, and ultimately editing. She has now worked as an editor across Advertising, Fashion, Music, Film and Television. This includes comedy, documentary, music promos, trailers, and short-form narrative. After obtaining a BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Communications & Promotion at Central Saint Martins based in London, she moved away from photography and deeper into film. Her beginnings as an editor started before she had graduated university while working for Art Partner as an offline edit assistant and mainly on high-end fashion campaigns but she found a love of weaving longer narrative and moved quickly to work with other industries. As an editor, she has worked with brands such as Adidas, Heist, Gucci, Givenchy, Discovery Channel LATAM, Bafta, Davines, Shortlist Magazine & the BBC among others. Ana is also a Director, with one award-winning music video and two documentaries already under her belt.
