Ana is a graphic designer from Porto, Portugal.
She has studied Graphic Design at ESAD, School of Arts and Design in Porto and has a Master Degree in Communication.
The core concept of her work is based in four fundamental ingredients (action through apprenticeship, education through art, educational and public service) and its linkage possibilities.
The focus of her work is on designing and implementing a social intervention projects that advocates and encourages education through art.
Ana's work is also guided by the premise that social design is a key element in social intervention, in which the designer plays a leading role in changing mindsets. The objective is for the facilitator to use his/her skills to cultivate and nourish the concept of a greater good and thereby make a positive contribution to the welfare of the community.
The educational component assumes that the everyone should participate in creating activities that stimulate an aesthetic dialogue through art projects and creative tasks, which lead to critical reflection.
