Self-taught photographer Anabel Vandesande first found her love for photography when she left Belgium and moved to LA at the young age of 17. Not knowing what to expect, she quickly found herself in a whirlwind of travels. As she's easily drawn to new things, she continued to move every six months or so between places such as Barcelona, Australia, Ibiza and California. Moving around this much, she found herself needing to have a creative outlet to express herself and to stay grounded from all the triggers and visual stimulus accompanied with her rapidly changing surroundings. She's currently settling in Rio de Janeiro, where she's reconnecting with her love for surf. Anabel’s photography has been described as a feeling of youthful freedom interwoven with a natural and raw state of sexual imagery.
