About me
I straddle the line between the creative aspect of the industry and the business one; while focused on the product development and design, I have a strong comprehension of the buying, production (manufacturing / sourcing), and overall operational side. I am a short term “doer”, with a long term “achiever” mindset, and I’ve spent a significant amount of time in personal and professional development in my extensive travels in over 60 countries. In the next career move, I'm want to do something I’m passionate about, have a good routine, in a company with which I have shared values and work ethic.
Projects
  • ASX2 ACURRATOR
ASX2 ACURRATORStart-up women’s apparel and accessories brand, developed with love for digital prints, clean cuts and versatility. This side project allows me to have creative freedom, explore new techniques and fabrics, and work on anything from basics to statement pieces, all reflecting the brand’s DNA.
Work history
    Fashion Product Developer
    London, United KingdomFull Time
ACCURATOR started as a distribution agency for niche accessories brands into central Europe, but morphed into a production and manufacturing business. • I managed to secure contracts with a few brands as independent supplier of finished goods - womenswear, menswear and accessories, based on the client’s pitch. • In under a year, managed to deliver over 30.000 products, that I designed, or co-designed. • I put together mood boards based on seasonal trend forecasting and target/ price points, ensure that key items for the season are covered across multi product areas, and made samples for the approved designs. • I found specialised factories in Europe for each category of products and fabric suppliers, to make sure I meet the margins for each SKU. • Attended trade shows to find suppliers and established great connections across the industry. • Working so close to the factories, I gain a great understanding of the garment construction and technicalities, that I didn’t have as a self thought designer and seamstress (the reason why I decided to pursue a part time master’s degree in Garment Technology later this year) • Achieved great liaise between stages of production: from concept, sample, pattern, fabric paring, labelling, to then delivered order. • I facilitated sampling and production process for small start-up brands, without having them commit to great stock, and I achieved great margins for established brands that needed stock. • I negotiated great quotes for printing and personalisation with a big European company, for customisation of any garment, accessory even particular pattern fabrics (delivered anywhere between 50 -10 000 t-shirts with customers logo and design, hoodies, jackets, dresses, bags..) • Managed to use my entrepreneurial mindset to determine the levers to pull for an overall better running business.
    Associate Creative Director
    London, United KingdomFull Time
AS x2 is a womenswear & accessories brand, that started as a side project and brain dump for a few creative people with experience in different parts of the industry. • In the last year, I’ve designed, and produced samples for 9 capsule collections • Sourced fabrics and made great contacts in my extensive travels in over 60 countries • I was able to utilise my previous experience as a distributor and buyer to find boutiques that agree to carry the brand, in 6 countries. • Set up shops within major online platforms: asos, njal, moja, noths. • Found ateliers to produce estimative stock, and managed to arrange great drop shipping terms. • I provide content for the organic growing media platforms (Instagram, Polyvore) as well as editorials and marketing partnerships (featured in fashion magazines and fashion blogs) • I research and test alternative fabrics and techniques: bamboo fibbers (tencel), Piñatex (vegetable leather), digital printed fabrics, produced our own patterns, laser cut pieces, recycled and sustainable fabrics. https://www.notjustalabel.com/designer/as-x2-acurrator-0 https://www.instagram.com/asx2acurrator/ http://asx2acurrator.com/
