While my work is diverse, it often involves concept art, commercial and editorial illustration, as well as surface designs for licensing to the home goods, stationary and textiles markets. I most frequently work in water-based (watercolor, gouache, acrylics and ink), mixed and digital media. My style ranges from detailed and realistic to whimsical, elegant and romantic, with thoughtful use of color, line and texture. While I have an extensive background in fashion/beauty (on/off-figure), food and botanical/nature photography, I scaled back from full-time photography work at the end of 2017 to focus on my art and illustration work. Much of my photography now supports my work in art, illustration and design, however, I continue to shoot images for art licensing, as well as personal projects. I will consider very limited editorial photography projects that interest me when my schedule permits, but I am not shooting any commercial client work or agency tests at this time.
I also have a growing interest in videography, video editing, content creation and online teaching. I film and edit art videos of my creative process for social media and plan to launch a YouTube channel centered around art, illustration and design in 2022.
