About me
As a nature based artist, I have a passion for instilling art appreciation through open-mindedness and creative process. This past year while undertaking my MA, we had the opportunity to visit schools and galleries that have enabled me to develop my communication skills and critical thinking but also allowed me to perceive certain settings in a more appreciative way. My love for travelling and exploration of new places endorsed my understanding and enriched my cultural appreciation. My MA in Art and Design in Education has taught me to become a good team worker, a good leader and an enthusiastic individual, who is always willing to try out new and different experiences in order to enrich my understanding of different and varied environments.

ART Teacher Intern

I was employed as a summer school Art teacher for six weeks, for children aged between 5 - 13. I had to create a thought-provoking yet entertaining and educational theme for each year group to work on every week. Although each age group had its challenges, being friendly and passionate about my work, I was able to convey an enthusiasm for art, enabling my students to paint and be creative. The summer school internship also included 3 nights of camping where I was responsible for their safety and care, as well as, their entertainment involving various activities and competitions.
