I'm a journalist, communications and digital media specialist with a keen interest in psychology, behaviour, habits, health and wellbeing.
After working for many years in the Health and Science sections of a daily newspaper in Brazil, and for communications agencies, I co-founded a content strategy consultancy, creating and editing content, and developing communications strategies for dozens of clients, especially in the health sector, as well as the travel industry.
Coming from a multicultural background, I value being surrounded by diversity. I'm based in London, UK, which allows me to experience and learn about multiple cultures and people's behaviours.

- Communications consultancy for a psychotherapistThis is the cover of a social media best practices guide I created as part of a Communications Consultancy for a psychotherapist in London, UK. It's a bespoke service that empowers self-employed professionals to run their own communications efficiently.
- Branded content for MotorolaThis was a project carried out by Abril publishing group in Brazil, in which I created branded content, with a journalistic perspective, about ways of enjoying the city of Belo Horizonte. In this piece, I interviewed people involved in the Indie music local scenario and created a story based on their statements.
- Narra_tiva project interviews anti-asylum activistNarra_tiva is a project developed and produced by me and my partner, in which we find people with interesting and inspiring stories to share. Marta Soares is an anti-asylum activist in Brazil. In this project, I carried the roles of producer, camera assistant, and director.
- Social media for busuu's Facebook (PT)In this project, my role is [until today :)] to create engaging content for busuu's Facebook page (Portuguese). busuu is a language learning app that shares valid information on its social media. The content must have a mix of languages, therefore I create it in English, Portuguese, Italian and others.

From July 2022 to March 2023, as Communications as Events Officer, my role was to help increase the awareness, visibility and influence of the projects carried by the ILC-UK that address the impact of ageing and longevity on society. My tasks require excellent organisation and communication skills, as well as attention to detail:
- Helping the ILC-UK team to organise dozens of national (such as the annual Future of Ageing conference and meetings alongside Party Conferences in the UK) and international events (including alongside the G7 meetings in Japan and the G20 meetings in India, and the WHA in Geneva)
- Leading each step of the events, liaising with stakeholders, and making sure we're on track and within budget
- Keeping database organised and up to date
- Creating tailored content to share with our audiences (email marketing, social media, and website)
- Chairing of the ILC Global Alliance Communications Committee, managing the content on the ILC Global Alliance website and social channels
