  • Click to edit position descriptionStiletto Shades was launched in 2014 and it incorporates the Eastern Europe fashionable sensuality with the elegant proper Western Fashion. Andreea Cristea discovered the differences and similarities between the two cultures and, by living in London, she assimilated the Western Fashion without cutting the embellished and luxuriant touch of the Eastern roots. After one year, Andreea runs an International Blog, had a Christmas Capsule Collection and attends the majority of the Fashion Weeks and events in Europe. With the knowledge acquired from London College of Fashion, the blogger believes in building a deeper communication with the readers and she finds the profound communication a key strategic action in the digital media. With deep passion and commitment to showcasing fashion trends and employing social media strategies, Stilleto Shades was created and quickly gained loyal readers. The activities involved with running the blog include: predicting fashion trends, observing new emerging trends and the consumers’ behaviours, attending fashion week in London and Paris as well as press days and fashion parties. Activities: engaging, interesting articles, creative, quality photo shoots, used relationship, networking, contacts, teams, brands lending items and create mood boards for future photoshoots presented to Pr’s and brands, to name just a few.


Capsule Collection Just a Good Girl” by Andreea Cristea

  • Not Just A Good Girl” capsule collection was launched before Christmas and it was designed to offer the consumer an alternative to the regular Christmas jumper. The collection offered a range of glamorous jumpers in two colours (red and gold) and a one size cut, with eye-catching quotes such as: “Dear Santa, I’ve been glamorous”, “Dear Santa, I haven’t dated any players”. “Dear Santa, I’ve been a good drama queen” to name a few. The capsule collection was created after identifying a gap in the market for glamorous, luxurious Christmas jumpers. A fashionable approach was maintained through the use of materials, cuts and the quotes used. The garments were sold on the blog, on the designer’s website (who offered her collaboration and her manufacture company) and in a concession store within a prime shopping centre in Romania. "The price was set at 50€ which was deemed competitve in comparison to similar market offerings and an option of world wide delivery was available. The marketing and digital marketing strategies such as the social media and video campaigns were all developed to suit the blog’s style and identity.

  • One month after the blog’s launch, an invitation was received to create a window display for the peak summer season for a luxury boutique on the sea side of Romania. The task was to build an attractive display which portrayed Stilleto Shades’ (fashion blog) favourite classics as well as highly fashionable pieces found in store in that period of time.

  • Interning in one of the most influential manufacturing companies in Romania, the following tasks were undertaken: observing client-manufacture negotiations, pattern creation, product development, quality control and monitoring how the finished garments were bagged in covers in order to leave towards their warehousing. Moreove the importance of establishing a strong relationship between the brand and suppliers was understood.


TV Presenter & 5 Minutes for Health” Show

  • Presenting own show during the summer period, called “5 minutes for health”. The focus was on beauty practices during summer and how to achieve glowing skin.
