Experienced manual Quality Assurance Analyst with a demonstrated history of working on mobile apps and desktop apps for a well known education support company. In addition to previous experiences in working on a range of short term and long term projects across various mobile apps, desktop browsers in conjunction with various digital agencies and software houses.
Keen interests in creative hobbies including photography, UX interaction, theatre, television, film, gaming would be keen to gain exposure in creative aspects of work as well as furthering my main manual QA testing career.

In my role at Enlitened I work as a QA Analyst for testing a pioneering new mobile and desktop app that focuses on Student’s wellbeing and offering supporting to them whilst studying at university. The desktop app allows universities to help action on student’s needs at university ranging from actioning ideas to giving feedback to students on key things that matter to them.
I produced the test plans and led on the QA process of testing both the Student and Client apps, predominately using an exploratory style approach. I focused not only on ensuring tests covered doing expected tasks correctly but also on how the apps would handle negative test cases in efforts to find key bugs, such as quitting the app part way during a registration.
I was also involved in the initial inputting of student app article content into the internal systems and ensuring they display and function correctly on the Student app.
• Development of Test plans for exploratory and scripted testing and cross browser testing including functional and non-functional test requirements.
• Initial inputting of article related content into the Student app
• Take ownership on testing and ticket writing and assisting with the development team on best ways to ensure bugs fixes are done well and advice on app progression such as making it more user friendly for as many audience types as possible.

I worked on time sensitive projects both individually and in a team, these ranged from small web apps to larger scale projects such as testing an entire new website rebuild for a well-known alcohol drink company as well as support on a train company entertainment app and a digital newspaper app.
I was also on hand to support and guide new junior team members. This ranged from general project queries to testing techniques to find key bugs such as invalid data entries, skipping key areas of the app such as registrations and application crashes.
