A summer internship at Alpha Gamma Solutions, an outsourced direct marketing and sales company, where I worked on the Personal Fundraising Services campaign. My role was client acquisition from door-to-door solicitation which involved regularly working in a team of 4 or 5 people and travelling to a different area of London every day. I spoke to over 150 people on a daily basis which required good communication skills and the ability to quickly build relationships with a variety of different people. This role taught me the fundamentals of direct marketing and how to maintain professionalism and enthusiasm over the course of a day. I also tutored newly recruited employees and learned the basics about how the business is ran.

As a UKCC level 2 coach, I'm the head badminton coach for the University development squad, where I deliver creative weekly sessions to over 20 students. I am also a junior county coach for Wiltshire Badminton Association, helping to run fortnightly sessions to players of varying ages and abilities. These roles require me to effectively communicate key technical advice to a large group of players and ensure the sessions run smoothly. I also coach individual (1-to-1) sessions at Bath University and at home during the holidays.
