Broadcast: BT Sport 'Fan Pundits'"so do you know a carpenter who can build a cabinet for all our 4 throphies? Well? Do, ya? COME ON CITY!" Just one of the many 'Fan Pundit' sound bites broadcasted during BT Sport's Premier League Tonight show. With their audience & our tech, passion is being injected into neutral punditry by letting footie fans have their say live on TV Unlike most user-generated video, Seenit lets you direct what is filmed, pick who is filming it, & also review content before it's published. I was apprentice at BT Sport and My role was a Logger which meant I had a set number of sports or interviews a day and my job was to identify the key moments in those activities. For example for a Football match I would highlight: Goals; assists; red cards etc. It was a great place to start because my knowledge of sport all round grew a lot, I started to learn about sports I had never watched before like Rugby, MotoGP, and Rowing etc. Also a lot of production teams relied on our logs so I was able to learn how other teams worked then was introduced to The Digital team. Due to logging being shift work I had some days in the week free so I decided to use some of those days to Shadow the digital team. I help out with Champions League nights and learn different skill sets like using Photoshop and Adobe Premier. Luckily I job opportunity came up in digital and due to my experience I got the job in September 2017, just two years after I started my apprenticeship. Now I can gladly say I am a Junior Digital Producer. Apprenticeship at BT Sport was great because it gave us an education as well as crucial experience in a working environment. I was given responsibilities and also had to juggle college assignments. This helped me prioritise my time and has benefitted an awful amount in my career. Lastly BT sport was a great place to do an apprenticeship because there are so many elements to the business and a lot of room to manoeuvre and grow into what you want your career to be.
