Directing stories from the fringes.
Whether it be social realism or music documentaries, I give a voice to those who don’t always have one. With marginalised communities, movements and subcultures at the heart of my work.
My hope is that the more stories that are told, the more awareness will spread, and the less marginalised they’ll continue to be. I’m not a politician or a policymaker, I’m a filmmaker and storyteller. My goal is simply to put a human face on these hidden populations that often aren’t humanised, so that people feel inspired to make a better world.
Short films I've directed have been recognised internationally at BAFTA qualifying film festivals.
I’ve also freelanced in a commercial capacity for the likes of ASOS, VICE, BuzzFeed, Secret London, Time Inc. and Monocle.
Currently working at Lloyds Bank in house creative agency, ‘Storytelling’, making films and doing creative.
At the intersection of design and electronic music I also co-run fashion label 'First Sight of Dawn'. We produce limited edition runs of high quality tees, designed by music lovers for music lovers. Collaborating with our favourite DJ’s who create the designs, we print them from our local printers in Peckham on the finest quality t-shirts sourced from Portugal. And the best part, half the money is donated to the British Tinnitus Society.
