About me
I am a designer who specialises in creating and producing hand-made and one-off products that range from sculpture, site-specific installations, light boxes, bicycles and speakers. The majority of my finished works all have a common theme, which is to design and make functional pieces that are aesthetically pleasing yet serve a practical purpose. I have worked with clients to produce bespoke products made to their exact specifications. I spent much of my education and early career in a workshop and am eager to work in such an environment again and to use the skills that I have acquired and then also gain new abilities to apply in the future.

  • State of Flow
State of FlowA short collaborative art film lead by a sound team from Leeds (Tim Raben, Tom Handley & Robbie Henriques) creating an original, ambient and eerie soundtrack most of which was recorded on sight. The film features installations by three artists working in their chosen spaces; Coast (Megan Willis), Woodland (Robin Brignal) and Urban (Angus Merrell). All recorded in three days by film maker Laurence Hills.
  • Stairway to nowhere

  • Cosmic Roots Pavallion
Cosmic Roots PavallionI was commissioned to design and build a pavilion for a music & arts festival in Norfolk called Cosmic Roots.
  • Light Boxes
Light BoxesHaving originally made an individual light box for a music event company, NORD, that I co-founded during university, I was commissioned by other companies around the UK to design and build their own light boxes. Working closely with clients, I selected colours, graphics, materials, and sizes to suit their unique requirements.
  • Sound Sculpture
Sound SculptureDesigned to improve the listening experience this speaker uses a parabolic dish to reflect the sound to the viewer. This allows for the sound to concentrated into a focal point which in turn, means for diminished noise pollution.
