About me
Hello,
My name's Anita, I am a photographer and photo assistant looking for freelance opportunities.
I embarked on a career change into photography in August 2019 and sought mentorship by Annie Masciavè through the M&C Saatchi Mentor Black Business programme.
She provided me with some valuable industry insight from an art-buying perspective and I managed to get freelance photo assisting work and eventually worked for fashion photographer Nick Knight at SHOWstudio as his studio and photo assistant full-time.
Since leaving SHOWstudio in August 2022, I have been working on adding to my portfolio.
I have basic knowledge of flash and continuous lighting, and I am proficient with Photoshop, Lightroom and have a basic understanding of Premiere. You can view my portfolio by following me on Instagram @uglyduckling.studio
