I’m an experienced and creative A&R with vast experience working in a variety of roles within the music industry. As well as experience in both major and independent record labels, I’ve worked at various festivals and events, such as helping in the management of Dimensions and Outlook Festivals, stewarding and accreditation at British Summer Time, and Defected’s London Festival.

In this role I assisted in the management of Defected’s ever growing publishing roster, helping out with sessions and collaborations, whilst bringing in ideas and tracks for the label side too (Glitterbox, Defected, DFTD, Classic Music Company etc.)
Responsibilities:
Sourcing demos and tracks from producers (internal and external) to present to Simon Dunmore and A&R team
Setting up studio sessions, assisting with bookings and finances, participating in sessions and delivering feed-back, liaising with all parties on improving the tracks prior to their release
Actively looking for available songs for our roster of producers to make their own.This included:
- Album tracks for upcoming Purple Disco Machine release
- Low Steppa – liaised with Tileyard and Olivia Sebastianelli for the track ‘Keep You In The Dark’ out on
Armada Music
- DJ S.K.T. (worked on ‘Boomerang’ feat. Jem Cooke, released on 3 BEAT and set up sessions
with Camden Cox, Harlee, Hayley May, Kelli Leigh)
Helping out with writing camps for topliners signed to the roster (eg. Dames Brown, Dope Earth Alien)
Attending gigs/club nights/events every weekend, delivering reports and reviews on artists/tracks/production, for internal use to inform different areas of Defected’s business (label, events, marketing etc).

Some of my responsibilities were:
Acting as the focal point for all press and photographer accreditation
Working closely with the on site media team, videographers and photographers to partner relevant press and artists together to create engaging features
Running the festival social channels (Instagram, Facebook andTwitter) and sharing posts as per the content strategy
Assisting with artist interviews and photoshoots during each festival
Running the festival inboxes (Gmail and Facebook), responding to customers, artists and third parties.
