    Operations Manager & Paralympic Inspration Programme
    The Paralympic Inspiration Programme (PIP) allows 24 aspiring Paralympians the opportunity to experience the unique environment of the Games. PIP provides both inspiration and education and is designed to drive a new generation of athletes to Paralympic success. • Delivering the operational element of the programme ensuring all athletes have a smooth, seamless experience, getting the absolute most out of their time in the hectic and unpredictable environment of both Rio de Janeiro and a Paralympic Games. • Supporting the programme director in the design and delivery of rigorous, individualised schedules, with lessons about nutrition, media, anti-doping, competitor planning and goal setting.
    Invictus Games Project & Operations Manager
    Developed, oversaw and implemented a robust project plan that delivered the 108 strong British Armed Forces team and 52 support staff for the 2016 Invictus Games Orlando. Lead the delivery of the competitor journey from the initial registration through to the start line. • Event Delivery: Organised and delivered the UK team trials, selection and public launch at Buckingham Palace. Involving a three-day multi-sport event held at the University of Bath allowing approx. 200 applicants to try out for the ten Invictus sports with world class coaches and facilities. Working closely with sports specialists, managing all logistical and operational aspects. • Stakeholder Engagement: Managed strong relationships with key international stakeholders such as Jaguar Land Rover, the BBC and the Games Organising Committee, maintaining clear, ongoing communication and involvement. Fostering long term trust and collaboration. • Games Operations: Directed operations and logistics during games time. Seeing all competitors and staff safely and successfully to and from Orlando, including managing intricate airport logistics through to supporting the complex needs of competitors and their friends and family. Being the key point of contact for the Games Organising Committee and the British team. • Internal Communications: Lead internal communications for support staff and senior partners at board level within Help for Heroes, The Royal British Legion and Ministry of Defence, ensuring a reliable and effective flow of transparent information. • Monthly Reports: Produced consistent and concise monthly reports, meticulously tracking the timeline, budget progress, monitoring and mitigating risk where necessary. • Structure Implementation: Designed and implemented a structure, policy and process that has sustainability and longevity for future games. • Strategy Development: Currently supporting the development of an innovative delivery strategy for the 2017 Games. Leading the initiation of the Toronto 2017 project, ensuring a strong foundation on which to base the delivery stages.
