A Closer Look: Van Huysum's "Flowers In a Terracotta Vase."During the production of the National Gallery’s mini-series; “A Closer Look” I worked as a production assistant on the episode focusing on Jan Van Huysum. I assisted especially in the lighting; vetoing the stark studio lights and instead choosing to use the room's natural light to maintain a feeling that reflected the cold softness of the Dutch master's work. I provided hands-on support to the technical team, keeping equipment dry and lining up takes. I Assisted in various areas of set design an
  • 2020 RESET
2020 RESETInspired by the online migration/revolution of 2020 and the media theory of Marshall Mcluhan I created a series of fliers for the Wieden and Kennedy Internship Programme Submission that required an emphasis on conspiracy. I used my illustrations to show encouragement of an advance into technology to the extent that we become the ghosts in the machine; existing in a timeless dimension and in a semi-cyborg state.
  • EPHEMERAL
EPHEMERALI worked alongside Miss Pickering and artist duo SNIK to create organic, utopian imagery for the exhibition EPHEMERAL that was held in October 2019 In The Crypt Gallery of Central London. My role included constructing the reference floral headpieces and modelling. Here we show the process as a whole and ask the audience to acknowledge the beauty in

At the Stamford Contemporary Gallery, I completely rebooted social media platforms and modernised the way the gallery worked to give it a voice in the digital age. This included setting up a website and mailing list for a gallery that previously only had email, newspaper adverts and a telephone. I also designed and printed flyers and posters advertising classes and exhibitions going on in the gallery. I have assisted in the curation and organisation of multiple exhibitions, liaised with artists and gallery directors to maintain good relations. I have handled the gallery calendar of exhibitions, workers and special events. I have worked with the team to plan themes for collective gallery exhibitions and then worked with artists to choose potential lists of individual artworks. I have designed milieu and show space ( covered the gallery in live moss for a spring-themed exhibition.) And then collected and finally installed all elements myself. I carried out tasks such as art handling, installation, transportation and removal in a safe and efficient manner. Throughout I have maintained strict safety compliance while working with a variety of tools and working from heights. It has been important to keep sensitive and valuable information safely stored on our system in line with data protection laws. And of course simply not to talk about it. I have been running the front desk of a high-traffic gallery to ensure admission payments and visitor safety whilst answering phone calls to the gallery.

During this amazing opportunity I accompanied two Visual Specialists in the setting up and design of the Sloane Street shop window display for Anya Hindmarch S/S16. I helped to determine marketing and design vision with a team for all types of experimental graphic design projects. This included creating prototypes and mock-ups of products using various 3D software packages and physical materials. I thoroughly enjoyed learning the visualization to product completion arc. and especially loved the physical hands-on learning approach to creating a final design prototype. I worked on my first photo production to show the progress of a prototype from concept to a saleable product. As a team, we developed strategies to achieve sales, profit and loss and customer service goals.
