I am a queer, female, Scottish-American screenwriter living in the UK, currently completing an MA in screenwriting at the National Film and Television School (2022-24).
As a writer, I aim to explore the nuanced psychology of women and girls in all sectors of society, and bring their stories to life through films and TV which are poignant and unexpected. Drawing from my time spent living in New Jersey, Scotland, and now London, I hope to imbue my characters with subtlety and insightful observation of those from all walks of life.
I am also a 2021 graduate of the Finding Your Voice screenwriting short course at NFTS Scotland and was selected to participate in Short Circuit’s inaugural Convergence screenwriting programme in 2021.
In addition to writing my own stories, I find joy and fulfilment in helping others to tell their own. Whether through cowriting scripts or providing editorial feedback, I am a strong believer in collaboration.
