Within this creative, experience-driven events company I am responsible for:
• Managing utilities and office suppliers while maintaining a creative and inspiring work environment.
• Providing first-hand support to the Event and Production teams, I am involved in the creative process from inception and am the ‘go to’ for venue and talent enquiries.
• Project managing internal events for the agency; from the annual cultural trip abroad to the office re-design.
• Handling all IT queries, I have a good knowledge of the technical infrastructure and I am proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and Mac OS.
• Nurturing the client database, which is a go to resource for the marketing and business development teams.
• Providing onsite event support and managing freelance staff. I have floor and door managed for flagship events such as GQ Men of the Year and Vogue’s Centenary Dinner.
Highlights in this role:
Event managing Timebased’s 20th Birthday party. I was tasked with planning an evening to celebrate all the events that had brought the company to this landmark anniversary. Organising all aspects of the event, I even designed a light installation displaying the company’s logo, which became a picture point for the event.
Blippar, leaders in augmented reality, sought to break the mould of a traditional Santa’s grotto and create an AR treasure hunt in the heart of Covent Garden. The multisensory experience transported visitors from the hustle and bustle outside into a monochrome life-size children’s book, with full-scale illustrations. Producing all the sound effects for the experience, I was also part of the production team and played a large role in set dressing.

• Developing the annual marketing strategy for all events; scheduling marketing emails, adverts and telemarketing.
• Inviting and entertaining keynote speakers and honorary guests, whom I’d brief and co-ordinate.
• Researching and producing content for conference agendas.
• Liaising with production companies on all aspects of lighting, sound and stage set design.
• Project managing the delivery of two extensive reports. Assisting in copy writing, proof reading and overseeing the whole edit of the reports from concept to publication.
• I took a lead on the company’s social media, increasing Twitter followers by 50% in a 12 month period.
Highlights in this role:
As part of the 2015 London Transport Awards I managed and promoted a partnership with Transport for London’s Year of the Bus campaign to orchestrate a live charity auction. With prizes ranging from one of a kind bus sculptures to private bus rides with TfL’s senior management the auction raised over £15,000 for various charities.
