I am currently studying Music in London. Goldsmiths University has provided a very broad knowledge of the industry: Studio use and recording, Performance class, Music Psychology class, the Business and Commerce of music, the Theory and History of music, Music in Film, Music Workshops, Music scoring, and Improvisation.
I was an intern in 'MUSIC OR MEDIA HOLDING', a branch of MTV Lebanon, where I worked in the radio department, the recording studios, and in a live concert, with a mix of International artists and national bands (artists like BREAKBOT+IRFANE, SUPERPARKA, PARKS SQUARES AND ALLEYS, GIZZMO...)
I am currently a student taking part in the company "West End MT", where i get professionally trained as a musical theatre performer (singing, dancing, and acting). The company, which chooses its students by auditions, really expands the performer's knowledge of the theatre scene by inviting producers and talented West End performers to watch or give masterclasses.
I have won several nation competitions ("Le concours de la Chanson Francaise"), been on TV for singing and interviews twice (MTV Lebanon), and travelled around several countries to perform as a soloist in International choirs ("Association for Music in International Schools" (AMIS), and "The International School of muscat, Festival of choirs" (TAISM)).
All of these performances have not only boosted my performance skills, but also taught me a lot about the music industry and how it works behind the scenes.
I want to use my middle eastern background, my sensitivity and personal experiences and immense passion in performing, to add more culture in the music industry of the future. My strong decision making and the powerful determination i have are assets that could potentially make me a good contribution to the music industry.
