My final project at General Assembly was working with Yodomo, an online platform for learning a new crafty skill, of which we improved the online experience in a group of 3. Duration for the task was 3 weeks. We successfully came up with solutions to current issues by using the full double diamond approach as a team, which are already implemented on Yodomo’s website.
Our prototype was a responsive web design with a focus on mobile-first. Based on our user research, we solved key problems as navigation through the website and implementation of a meganav, onboarding/landing page of new customers and improved product clarity. We also worked on improving the “my account” area to make it clearer to the user how to access their online courses.
