- LATENTLatent is an urban psychological thriller, set in the developing tray of London night. It follows a night in the life of Philip, a London-based photographer. Philip finds his next photographic subject in the face of a mysterious woman who leads him through empty streets and remote alleys. As the events unfold, his senses wander into the darker spaces of his mind, unearthing a side to himself that he never knew he had.

I find genuine and varied house hunters, and maintain a professional relationship with them from initial contact through to being cast. Responsibilities include, ensuring the show has varied and unique contributors, and that the film crew would travel on a practical route throughout the shooting schedule. I would produce and direct contributors in their taster tapes, shooting both interview and actuality sequences, and editing an entertaining taster to showcase their personalities to Channel 4. This footage would later be used for broadcast to establish the backstory of the house hunters.

My MA established my foundation in Drama Filmmaking. I worked closely with screenwriters and HOD’s, sourced funding and Produced a short film on a budget of £20,000. Latent was officially selected into over 20 film festivals, including: Athens International Film Festival, London’s East End Film Festival, and Durham Film Festival; and won an award for Best Score and was nominated for Best Short.
