About me
I'm a highly regarded editor, copywriter and branded content specialist with 18 years experience in the media. At present, I produce content/social media/video strategies for Mazda and Volvo at Redwood. Away from my branded work, I’m the co-publisher and editor of luxury style magazine, Umbrella, which has become one of the most influential titles in its sector. In terms of freelance, I've overseen strategies for the likes of Lacoste, Scotts Menswear, Lucozade, Tessuti clothes shops, Nike, Procter & Gamble, Sagres, and Smart cars.     For the last six months I’ve been freelancing at Redwood: scriptwriting for the Mazda account, writing articles and social media posts for Volvo, and producing content for new-business pitches. I’ve also worked as Head of Content for Christopher Ward watches and Salt Yard restaurants: bringing in thousands of new fans/customers with my social media, web and print content.

    I co-founded Umbrella with Creative Director Matt Reynolds in 2010 as a reaction to what we believed was a lack of forward-thinking magazines in the men's sector. Our goal was to create a publication that reflected both the real interests of post-internet men and the change in publishing instigated by the blogosphere. It does this, and so much more. Available as both a printed and digital publication, Umbrella has a readership of around 20,000 per issue, and covers fashion, technology, politics, architecture and transport. Umbrella is funded by advertising, magazine sales and bespoke advertorials, which we create for clients like Tessuti, Lacoste and Scotts Menswear.
