Antonio Lori was born in a small town but full of inspirations, near Turin, the capital of Piedmont, in Italy. He inherited the love of photography from his father Carlo. He first falled in love of the traditional photography in black and white, then he refined his technique and started to became passionate about the digital photography for her versability. He is a deep connoisseur of the various photography techniques and a truly experimenter. He has pursued a University Degree in Biology at the School of Sciences M.F.N. in Turin, with a paper in Macro and Ultramicroscopic Scientific Photography. He suddenly started to work and to teach photography in multiple studios between Milan and Turin. In 2015 he exposed his works at the first “Biennale of Photography” curated by the infamous Vittorio Sgarbi. He collaborated with several journalists in the fashion industry and in the food sector. For example his photos was published on "Il Messaggero", "Il sole 24 Ore”, the online food blog "Scatti di Gusto", the "Man in Town" magazine and on fashion publications as “Vertiqlé Magazine” and “Art of portrait”. He partecipated as a front row photographer for numerous Fashion Weeks: Milan Fashion Week 2016/2017/2018, Pitti Uomo and Pitti Bimbo in Florence, Turin Fashion Week, IAAD Turin Fashion Design Week.
He was selected as a NPS Nikon photographer and as a Master in Nikon School (Portraits and Still-Life Workshops).
About his main skills he can count not only photography but editing,retouching, work flow too and a deep knowledge of the Capture One software (he is a “Beta Tester” and a professional trainer).
Currently he works between his studios in Turin, Milan and in Rome where he can claim professional equipment (ask for further information) and where he shoots with his beloved Phase One IQ3 100 and Sony Alpha 7rIV.
