Hard working and diligent London based first year fashion-textiles student keen on gaining experience in the knitwear and fashion industry. Having always had a passion for creating, my skills lie in hand making textiles, using crochet or hand knit as well as domestic and dubied knit machine techniques to create unique creations with cleverly picked material choices. Strengths lie in multi-tasking, always having a positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
Projects
- Final Major Project for CSMThis project explores the theme of non-violence towards animals. I dug into the theme of non-violence because I belong to the religion of Jainism, which explains the principle of Ahimsa so deeply and systematically. Being a vegetarian since birth, I have never understood the want to eat meat. Through my work I want to show the grotesque nature of meat and hopefully promote the message of non-violence towards animals, therefore making a statement.
