I was initially hired by FACT in 2016 to work as their sole UK news writer and was responsible for sourcing, writing and posting music-related news. The role required excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. As my job at FACT progressed, I was tasked with writing and editing everything from features to reviews, while also managing our weekly playlist and singles review features. The skills I picked up during my two and a half years with FACT extend beyond writing, researching, interviewing and editing - I am adept at using WordPress, MailChimp, TweetDeck, Google Analytics, while I have also gained invaluable experience of working in video.
