I was originally hired to write features and interviews for the online blog and was then hired to manage their social media and branding to build an engaged online community. This role involves: - Source subjects for written pieces and conduct phone, face-to-face and email interviews. - Deliver content in line with the Dead Pretty tone of voice - Collaborate with Dead Pretty team to create a cohesive brand image - Develop, implement and manage social media strategy - Generate, manage and oversee social media content - Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network - Ideate campaigns and photoshoots and cast talent - Measure and report on the success of social media campaigns and activities - Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies

    During the final year of my communications degree I co-founded The Ladies Network, a collective highlighting women in the creative industries. Through PR strategy, social media plan and targeted events and exhibitions, we grew to become a notable name in the arts and media scene in Australia and beyond. This role involved: - Grew our combined social media presence to over 50,000 completely organically through content creation and online strategy - Manage website and social media accounts - Execute successful creative concepts with a minimal budget - Commission pieces; receive pitches and select and subedit relevant content for the website - Conduct and produce interviews - Liaise with advertisers, partners and external stakeholders - Organise collaborations with brands and sponsors and managing brand partnerships - Organise the layout and design of web content - Event management and fundraising. Event scales range from small workshops to art exhibitions with 1000 attendees on opening night. - Partnerships included Nike, Adidas, M&C Saatchi London, Miu Miu, BONDS, G-Star, Ella Bache, Lanolips, The Daily Edited, Karen Walker, Well Made Clothes, Merivale, The Art Gallery of NSW, SBS on Demand and Kowtow. My work has been featured and profiled in publications such as VOGUE, Nylon Japan, i-D Australia, Buzzfeed, GQ, Elle Australia, Oyster Magazine, Art Monthly Magazine, Broadsheet, The File and Banshee Publications.
