Experienced Animator, Illustrator and Designer, fulfilling project briefs with differing scope and budget. Since graduating from Kingston School of Art studying Illustration and Animation BA, I have independently directed, designed, and animated short films for charity events, songs and poetry, as well as worked collaboratively with other designers on larger scale projects such as short film and tour visuals.
I am a Lecturer at Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design. I teach on the Vogue Foundation Programme, with focus on the Multi-Media Practice and Fashion Portfolio modules. I am the Fashion Illustration Module Leader on the BA Fashion Communication & Industry Practice. I am a Lecturer of Visual Communication for the Vogue Summer School courses, Vogue Teen Festival and Vogue Summer School: Fashion Business.
I also teach Graphic Design, Art and Ceramics at Godalming College. I am passionate about education and believe in continuing professional development. I completed a PGCE at the University of Greenwich and I am studying an Illustration MA with Falmouth University.
My personal style consists of strong playful visuals with an allusion to ancient myth and folklore, beliefs and religion, current affairs and popular culture. I can comfortably adapt my style to suit the needs of clients. Skilled in a wide range of mediums – hand-rendered and computer-generated techniques.
I utilise my skills to create, design and develop ideas – finding suitable resolutions to complete any given brief to high specification. Confident in my approach using the skills I have learnt from university, self-initiated projects and freelancing. A fast learner and always keen to acquire new skills to improve my craft. I work well under pressure within tight deadlines, both individually and collectively as part of a team.
My skills include Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Animate, InDesign), Final Cut Pro, 2D Animation, Info-Graphics, Animation Direction, Character Design, Storyboarding, Print & Logo Design, Illustration, Graphic Design, Typography, Visual Communication, Printmaking, Mixed Media, Embroidery.
