After working in the retail side of fashion for many years, my business partner and I decided to try our hand at the wholesale aspect by creating our own women’s clothing line. We conceptualized and developed a strategic vision of the brand and six collections later, Priory has expanded globally
with over 45 retailers spanning across North America, Asia, and recently Europe.
Priory is designed and marketed towards a different type of girl – typically one working in a creative environment with a sense of sophistication and comfort. Our most recent expansion includes signing with European sales agents, Hand and Legs Showroom, who also represent notable brands such as Wood Wood, Stutterheim, Libertine Libertine, and Hope. We produced over three thousand units of clothing in 2016, and have been featured in major publications such as
Racked.com, Women’s Wear Daily, and many more.
As an owner-operator, I have kept myself involved in all moving parts of the company from design to public relations,but my main tasks are to manage production, along with the business and creative development of Priory. By constantly putting in effort towards working with local manufacturers and sourcing fabrics from the west coast of North America, I am proud to say that Priory is 100% ethical and holds a clean record of sustainability with minimal impact on the
environment.
