About me
Arnold Gevers - born in Germany in 1979, completed his studies at the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen, where he graduated as a fashion designer in 2006. His diploma thesis "Grand Tour 2006" based on the examination of the phenomenon of European travel was awarded by the Foundation of the German Clothing Industry (SDBI). He then moved to Paris, France, where he worked first for John Galliano and later for Bernhard Willhelm. Since 2013 he is back in Germany and teaches design, collection conception, collection and product management and experimental pattern construction first at the Media Design University in Munich and currently at Akademie Mode Design (AMD). He is an
appointed Professor for fashion design since 2015.
In 2019 he founded the sustainable fashion label AA Gold Fashion (www.aagold.de). Here he investigates the aesthetics of zero waste methods. AA Gold stands for fashionable attitude, sustainable conviction and responsible use of resources.
