I have graduated from the University of Sussex where I studied Anthropology and Geography. I chose this course because I wanted to explore the relationship between communities, culture, society and the environment. I have been fortunate enough to study under some of the countries leading experts on topics ranging from migration to gender inequality. The course was comprised of lectures, seminars and field trips from which I gained real world experiences. In my final year I worked on an individual research project in which I researched the Geography of heritage and conservation with a specific interest in how and why buildings become iconic to place. The range of modules was incredibly diverse with some of my favorites being the study of ‘race, ethnicity and identity’ and ‘global food security’.
