Julius Arthur Finck, working under the name of Arthur Finch, is a 22-year-old artist working in Photography, Painting and Installation Art. His work is often an introspective. He examines and evaluates his experiences and emotions through his projects. While doing so, he is always concerned about beauty and aesthetics and especially interested in the relationship between light and shadow. Projects of the past were about documenting youth culture, love, sexual identity and the experiences he had while living in Israel and Palestine. He mainly works in the area of Portraiture, Self-portraiture, Fashion and Still Life Photography.
For the first time, he recently had his work featured in an exhibition (‘The Portrait Within’ at The House of Smalls Gallery).
Working with different forms of art helps him to realise his ideas. Often a sculpture would inspire a photograph or the other way around.
Arthur Finch grew up in Berlin and is now studying Photography BA (Hons) at the University of the Arts London.
He is living and working in London.

- Kids in the CityA rebellious generation in the city of the rich. Inspired by heroin-chic, DIY and grunge, this editorial is about younger generations living in places of wealth and money. They break with norms and regulations to find a new way of living, but also to build themselves a future, different to the life they are used to. They drink, smoke go out to party and wear clothes that are urban, self-made and rebellious. Stylist Bridget Knowles @_bridgetknowles Make-Up Artist Nannan Shindo @nannanshindo Ha
