As an Editorial Translation Intern at Vogue Paris, my main role is the translation of French articles into English, publishing my content to a combined audience of almost eight million across Facebook and Twitter. Not only has this pushed my writing, but it has helped me develop a strong online voice. The fast-pace of fashion journalism has sharpened my editorial eye and organisational skills immeasurably, whilst giving me a solid grounding within publishing, SEO and CMS.

I worked with the ITV On Assignment team for a week as a researcher, writing pitches and learning to construct a narrative from the bare bones of an idea. I spent time in both the editing suite and the newsroom, adding breadth to my understanding of production.
