About me
Back in 2016 I worked as a waiter and had been stuck in that industry for many years. I had such a passion for animation to the point where I even created animations based upon my workmates just to stay creative and figure out a way into the creative industry.
I applied for many jobs at digital agencies but nobody took an interest since I had no animation experience.
So I took to the internet and discovered Gary Vaynerchuck, a popular businessman and online personality who spoke about working for free in exchange for exposure!
After offering my free services to him I made 2 animations for his brand, 1 of which was seen by my current associate/employer located in the US and together we have built a content creation company named Food Fight Studios.
We have been working together for 5 plus years working with some of the biggest names in entertainment and business such as Wyclef Jean, Gary Vaynerchuk, James Altucher, Spartan Race's Joe De Senna and Reggie Yates.
All of this was built from nothing, which in hindsight was the best thing those agencies ever could have given me!
Projects
- Wyclef Jean Live At The ApolloDuring lockdown Wyclef Jean performed his legendary 1997 album 'The Carnival' at the Apollo Theatre. Since we are aligned with him creatively we produced the visuals for the skits in his album and the videos on stage during his performance. This event was also nominated for an Emmy! One of my/our greatest achievements to date!
- Gibson Hazard Style Video EditingDuring the lockdown, I had a huge creative block which led me down the rabbit hole of Youtube. I stumbled across Gibson Hazard who creates these amazing videos for celebrities and his approach is so unique. After being struck with inspiration I decided to give it a go myself based upon the most simple tasks of my everyday life.
