An inspiring, friendly and dedicated private tutor specialising in English literature, history and the humanities, I look to inspire students in their subjects and try to find the best techniques to help each student learn and absorb. I teach English from beginner to degree level and humanities from beginner to A-Level. I also work with students to improve their verbal and non-verbal reasoning, comprehension and creative writing. I believe that it's important to work to increase a student's confidence and emotional intelligence whilst at the same time ensuring that they are fully prepared for their next school or university careers.

- Mentoring students applying to boarding schools and universities in the UK, offering advice and support with their applications, personal statements, interviews and managing admissions, preparation days. On all occasions, students have got into their preferred school or university.
- My experience with children also encompasses au pairing for ten years in England and assisting in an English-Language school in India.

My MA, allowed me a year to specialise and build upon the academic interests garnered at Undergraduate level. My individual thesis/research project analysed the social and artistic history of the Country House in literature from 1900 to the present day. I researched the changing face of real country houses and why the British have such a deep connection and affiliation with stately homes and our heritage industry in general. I developed strong analytical research skills for both written and verbal presentation, a pride for attention to detail, and an ability to simplify complex research with ease.
