Denim MinorAmsterdam Fashion Institute
Amsterdam, Netherlands
The AMFI Denim Minor is a 20-week programme that has been developed to reflect the denim development processes and timeframes as experienced in the industry; alongside activities that develop skills in craftsmanship as well as an understanding of innovation. It is an immersive and in-depth focus on the world of denim and included industry speakers, trips to Kingpins Amsterdam, Candiani Denim mills in Italy and much more.
On this minor programme, I had the opportunity to work as part of a well-rounded team for a collaborative project with Tommy Jeans; where we had to create women's denim line for the brand.
Within the group, I took on the role of the Branding and Marketing Manager and was tasked to position this new denim line by creating the branding guidelines, the visual identity, a new logo and new marketing materials. These were later presented in a pitch to the Denim and Marketing teams at Tommy Hilfiger HQ, through a professional and graphically strong Keynote presentation.
