    Some of my responsibilities as Operations Manager at Ruuby include but are not limited to the following: Overseeing the bookings and operations teams. Ensuring bookings are fulfilled and client requests are looked after. Managing the customer service teams, ensuring policies and process are met and that the brand’s ethos are positively and accurately enforced throughout. Maintaining beauty therapist's satisfaction and loyalty once they have become a part of the Ruuby team, as well as working towards a positive retention program with our partnered beauticians. Managing 350+ beauty therapists' standards, financials, and feedback. In addition to overseeing the reactivation of non-active or dormant therapists who have dropped off since 2015. Overseeing financial processes for both client bookings and therapist's bi-monthly payrolls. Coordinating the design and purchase of Ruuby branded collateral used for events such as brochures, vouchers, flyers, business cards, roller banners, posters, etc. Organizing marketing events with leading brands and organizations such as: Michael Kors, Space NK, L'Occitane, Universal Studios, Harvey Nichols, British Fashion Council, London Fashion Week Festival, etc. Writing and editing for the Ruuby Magazine, including liaising with leading business women for our Ruuby Muse Series and creating our bi-monthly Ruuby Barometer.

    Some of my responsibilities as Brand/Community Manager at Ruuby included: Coordinating Ruuby partnerships for corporate in-office or event bookings with brands including Net-A-Porter, Benefit UK, Chiltern Firehouse, 5th House PR, Birchbox, Quintessentially, etc. Arranging beauty therapist and salons account set-ups, while simultaneously managing schedules and liaising between our brand partnerships and Ruuby clients. Managing client bookings made over the app or via our concierge systems for both salon and at home beauty services.

I put what I learned into practice by working on one science-fiction book proposal and one health conscious beauty magazine proposal.
