About me

I am passionate about the film, fashion and entertainment industry and also always have always loved hosting. I believe that these passions go hand in hand as they all require interpersonal skills as well as organisation and such. It is for this reason I believe that experience in all provides a wider range of skills and optimal synergy, therefore inspiring incredible professional and personal development. Consequently, I am hoping to gain even more work experience in the industry before I start at University in September 2023.

I also currently work zero hours contract with SoulShakers and have done bar work for them at many festivals and events which has taught me the key skills around hospitality work in that area. I have learnt how to serve mixed drinks, cocktails etc and have learnt and how to work effectively as well as efficiently. I have also recently started co-running the cloakroom at some events as a part of this agency which has taught me an array of new skills and just how important it is to work effectively as well as efficiently.

Responsible for making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day in the general front of house area - therefore stocking up the bar and wiping down surfaces and keeping the general aesthetic of the pub to the highest standard was also a part of the job.

I achieved qualifications in Media Studies (A), Sociology (A) and Theatre Studies (B). Additionally I gained a EPQ qualification (B) on the topic of how fashion and politics go hand in hand. The topic question I chose prompted me to explore how fashion can and has been a driving force for movement in both society and politics, whilst simultaneously being able to inspire change within them.
