About me
My story starts in Poland in 1940. My Grandma was given 30 minutes to leave her house by the Russian’s, after which it was burned down. My Grandpa, he was captured by the Nazis on his way to school aged 14 never to see his parents again. Thankfully, they survived and accumulated some incredible stories. They took refuge in England, had kids who also had kids and here I am today. Auberon. The name autocorrect will never show mercy to. The name that means I have to introduce myself as Tom whenever ordering a coffee.
Despite the inconvenience of this name I like (love) coffee. I also like the sun and cycling (see below for a few of my dislikes*). This summer was spent mostly in China teaching English to children. So, if you meet a Chinese person in the future and they speak fluent English, well, that probably wasn’t me. But, they’ll definitely have a great knowledge of Ale’s, my favourite drink.
*Dislikes:
1. Babies with adult names; because there’s something frighteningly unnerving about changing the nappy of somebody called Roger.
2. Noisy eaters
3. Stubbing your toe
4. Last nights dishes
5. Running out of toilet paper
I want to deal with real world challenges and work for the world’s most impactful brand and communications agency. I have done a years placement in the physiology industry and found it very uncreative and unstimulating and wish to escape this. If you like what you see then I’d love to introduce myself in person!
