Representing the University through a variety of different activities, including Open Days, start of trimester activities (in September and January), International Airport Welcome, Welcome Event, Clearing, workshop assistance, data entry, telephone exercises and much more! As a Student Ambassador I act as a first point of contact for face-to-face enquiries from new and potential students, staff and visitors and assist in integrating students into university life by providing a courteous, informed and friendly service at key internal and external events.
Assisting the Articulation Support Tutor in the development of an academic and non-academic transition programme for College direct entrant (DE) students to the Business School (TBS). Main Responsibilities were develop, implement and manage a range of initiatives for DE students. These activities included but are not limited to: - Developing a social media site (such as a Facebook forum) as a social space for DEs to TBS - Use existing material, and research for new material, to populate a Moodle space for DEs - Production of a magazine of FAQs for DEs - Organisation and coordination of social events to help DEs interact and socialise - Communications and coordination with guest speakers, students and supporting organisations.

"CEOx1Day is designed to uncover some of the UK’s most promising future leaders and give them an opportunity to walk in the shoes of a senior executive. Undergraduates apply to spend a day with a top Chief Executive to learn about the responsibility and complexities required to lead some of Britain’s leading business and organisations. At the same time, CEOs can better understand what drives the next generation of leaders."
