About me
I direct and shoot documentary film, one of which won the documentary short category at an international film festival. I hold a BA in Media and Communications from Goldsmiths University of London where my specialism was documentary film. Currently working professionally for a social enterprise film agency as a junior producer/director on short films for clients. I practise photography, on digital and film.

  • Dance Free (A Documentary Short)
    Dance Free (A Documentary Short)Dance Free explores the practice of ecstatic dance with a group in a woodland in Lincolnshire. Looking strange to passers-by, the dancers move in nature 'like no one is watching' and let go of all inhibitions while listening to a soundtrack which is played through silent disco headphones. The dancers in this documentary explain the significance and ritual of the practise and put into words how and why they find it liberating.     Dancing On Our Own (A Documentary Short)A documentary short exploring the effects of the loss of nightlife during the coronavirus pandemic on the queer community. LGBTQ+ clubs and bars have historically provided a safer space for these individuals to express themselves. Using interviews and footage from those involved in the scene, this film tells the story of those for whom clubbing provides a support system. I craft the narrative and edit produce the films that I work on. Mediorite is a social enterprise that works to diversity the screen industry by providing free training programmes and employment opportunities to young people.

    I hold a first class degree in BA Media and Communications from Goldsmiths University of London where I specialised in documentary film. I studied media ethics and aesthetics alongside the practical filmmaking part of my course. My dissertation analysed the ethics of representation in documentary film and photography of indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest by outsiders.

    I directed our final year documentary at Goldsmiths which won an award at this international film festival. It was not entered in the student category but won the best documentary category.
