Personal Skills AwardUniversity of Birmingham
The Personal Skills Award (PSA) is the University of Birmingham’s optional employability programme, endorsed by employers, designed to develop professional skills and attributes in preparation for graduate employment.
I have completed the programme by undertaking a variety of developmental activities, including: being a Departmental Student Ambassador, volunteering as a Senior Student Representative for two years, being part of the StartUp Society committee as well as attending numerous career insight events and workshops. At the end of the award I undertook an assessment in order to demonstrate exceptional commitment in developing skills and fostering professional practice, and will receive a certificate in recognition this summer.U

U21 Global Ingenuity Challenge Third Place Winner InternationallyUniversitas 21
My team and I won 3rd place internationally in an international university competition for which we had to create a 3 minute video proposing a solution to the challenge of 'Promoting Cultural Inclusiveness in society'.
Our solution involved the creation of an app called 'Community Connect' to help co-ordinate volunteers to projects to help people within the local community to connect with one another.
