About me

Zik is a cinematographer. In his early twenties he quickly became obsessed with the possibilities held within cinematography after seeing Happy Together, captured so vividly by Christopher Doyle, and from there began his route towards becoming a Director of Photography. A devotee of images, and cinema, he strives to imbue every project he shoots with a unique and defined visual profile; discovered through strong, considerate collaboration- kept at the forefront of his process. He cut his teeth in the lighting department where he worked for 7 years across commercial, music video, and narrative formats. Currently he bases himself between London and Nottingham. Zik is a member of the Sporas collective, and BAFTA Connect member.
