About me
Currently coming to the end of my Masters degree, I am technically sound individual with outstanding relationship building, training and presentation skills. I have acquired numerous skills through my degree and time at university which give me the ability to succeed in any task I am challenged with. Along with an excellent eye of social trends and cultural contexts, I am able to analyse and critically examine diverse forms of communication and adapt information to not only apply to myself, but to those around me. Along with being critical, I am also able to be highly creative when I am writing or presenting to an audience, meaning I am exceptional when leading a team, but also when passing information on to succeed within the workplace. In addition, I am highly involved and experienced in writing about current trends amongst various age groups, networking across different social media platforms and publishing my own writing to grab the attention of others. I am highly ambitious with a background in sales, marketing and advertising, that highlight my capabilities as a professional in order for targets to be met and for the company to succeed.

Within this role, I reviewed, edited and published submitted articles (generally about saving/spending money) and reviewed a variety of submissions within the fashion, entertainment, and gadget industry. I ensured reviews were paired with best buy links for the item, a cheaper item, and a more expensive item so there was an option for users with different budgets. I commissioned article publication, ensuring that all articles were in compliance with our educational criteria. In addition, I responded to requests such as help & support, advertising requests, safeguarding concern and the reporting of inappropriate posts. I also took part in driving site visitors by actively marketing and promoting the site, working with the managing director to produce a marketing plan, this included myself actively maintaining and posting on social media sites that include Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc.

I gathered stories from international students and alumni who described their experiences while studying at University and also living in Liverpool. Their stories were presented in the form of a book - published both as a hard copy and an e-book. Key tasks of the project that I undertook were publicising this writing opportunity to those eligible to participate via social media, communicating with the international students and alumni about their journeys to the University and proof-reading the participants story to make sure it was at a very high and accurate level. I also liaised with departments such as design, media and publication over the production of the book and ensured that all deadlines are met. Although this book was published every year from the university, I was the first person to include video interviews from international students that were posted onto the university website. I organised, recorded, edited and published these interviews myself, so that we were able to reach more people that could not have access to the book.
