I graduated with a masters degree in product design, at Vilnius Academy of Arts, 2016.
I strive to widen the range and push the limits of the industrial design field, merging ideas and setting new standards for what’s seen as innovative. My works have been awarded with RedDot Design Concept Award, Good Design prizes and other awards that incite thinking, creativity and further idea development.
Projects
- SMÅK SMÅK is a combination of a cutting board and a strainer, designed to simplify your daily cooking. It’s also the first part of upcoming Cognitive Kitchen series. First, roll it up & use the little knob to fixate Småk in it’s preferred position. Use it as a strainer to wash your veggies. Once you’re finished, roll it out & simply use it as a cutting board. The prototype itself is made of a thin polypropylene sheet, a material that’s perfectly safe to use in the kitchen around food. Because of its shape, this flat object is also convenient to store and easy to hang on the wall, turning it into a graphic interior element in the kitchen.
