- NT MembershipMembers of the National Theatre are an integral part of the organisation. It’s the members who make it possible to create bold new pieces of writing, inspire audiences around the globe and provide opportunities for as many people as possible to experience theatre. Formalised using a simple joint device and selected photography, the design is versatile yet made to fit the target audience of each member group. The join device is also seen throughout elements of the designs visual layout.
- Let's PlayLet’s Play is a learning initiative developed by the National Theatre’s learning department with teachers to help bring the art of theatre making into schools across the UK. Through the programme students are introduced to professional scripts, musical scores and the teachers to the necessary tool-kits to help develop and stage high quality school productions. The logo and identity is designed with playful elements reflecting the exuberant and lively energy of the young students whilst on stag
- Public ActsPublic Acts is the National Theatre’s nationwide initiative to create extraordinary acts of theatre and community. The programme creates ambitious new works of participatory theatre and is built on sustained partnerships with theatres and community organisations across the UK. The design of the identity utilises a striking colour palette and cut-out figures of the performers on stage and in rehearsal to communicate the essence and experience of the programme.
- Campfire PizzaThe brief was to create a contemporary and new brand for an already existing name Campfire Pizza. The newly designed truck was to compete with other trendy pizzerias found around London. With a younger target audience, I took my inspiration from London street artist Camille Walala and 1960’s computer games.
- NT ProgrammesThroughout my time at the National Theatre I’ve had the pleasure to design the editorial layouts for various show programmes including the programmes for Beginning, Macbeth, Anna, The Welkin, The Tell-Tale Heart and Antipodes. The concept for The Antipodes programme takes its inspiration from the mystic stories told in the play which lead to unravel parallel worlds.
- NT Brochure Cover SeriesThe concept for the cover series takes its inspiration from the individual departments found within the organisation. A unique way to highlight and communicate the extraordinary creative talent and staff of the National Theatres backstage. I worked with the heads of the departments to find a visual solution that would best describe their work, looking closely at their day to day work routine, the types of methods and materials they would use.
