About me
A third year history student looking to enter the events and marketing industries.
Projects
  • Ballet Choreography
Ballet ChoreographyThis was my first solo choreography project, so I decided to go bold and return to what ballet is all about- storytelling. Choreographed and taught over 10 weeks, this piece was performed by 20 dancers of mixed ability. It tells the story of Romeo and Juliet's first meeting and is set to Prokofiev's 'Dance of the Knights'.

    Events Work ExperienceCanterbury Cathedral
     - Canterbury, United KingdomInternship
I helped run and plan a variety of community outreach events with the Canterbury Journey team. This included researching relevant activities, putting together an events information sheet and collaborating with different departments to source materials. Key skills learnt/improved: - Public engagement and Interpersonal Skills: Encouraging people walking past to try out the activities we had on offer and interacting with the people taking part. - Teamwork: Working within a small team to organise and run the event. - Interviewing: I sat in, and helped interview, a potential new volunteer for the Cathedral. - Research: Researching the event before creating a relevant activity. This also included sourcing relevant materials and the information needed for the events information sheet.
