  • MOVEMENT AS A REPRESENTATION OF TIME
MOVEMENT AS A REPRESENTATION OF TIMEThis machine was made to create a graphical representation of movement. By capturing movement, we gave a step further replicating the depth of our senses and therefor gained further knowledge to understand these and contributed to our understanding of reality. This project is a cyanotype machine where the users are invited to rotate the stencils attached to the machine as to print different exposures on the coated paper in order to create a graphical representation of movement.

Installation Designer and ArtistMatthias Contzen Sculpture Studio
    2715-311 Pêro Pinheiro, PortugalFull Time
Currently working on a studio sponsored by Matthias Contzen. This year I have created two installations at Cosmos in Lisbon, all based on the use of light and darkness. Both of these installations were made to communicate with the space itself. Besides these installations, I have been researching new materials and new ways to create things. I have been developing my critical thinking and developing process and production methods.

    Installation DesignerPaula Canovas del Vas
     - London, United KingdomFull Time
Paula Canovas del Vas used a virtual reality developed by NoGhost studio to reveal her collection during London Fashion Week. My role was to create an installation that communicated the concepts of voyeurism and feminism that adapted to the space where the event was hosted. This role involved a strong capacity to develop ideas based on a concept and material knowledge. During building day I was guiding a team of 7 people to achieve the complete installation. This job required a keen eye for detail and problem solving skills.
