I have a lot of experience designing and project managing fabulous sets and concepts for both corporate and private blue chip clients in events, television and theatre with budgets ranging from £5K to over £150K and I relish getting creative and stuck in to all aspects of event design and production.
In my previous employment at Boo productions I worked my way up from set designer to Head of Production and design and I am now looking for new creative challenges and experiences to further develop my career. Their output was very diverse and I worked on a range of projects in my time there from PR launches and Immersive theming to blue chip corporate events and luxury private parties. I also oversaw costume and liaised with the entertainment managers to recruit actors for the events.
I am extremely detail focused and take great pride in realising the clients brief with a creative twist to delight its audience and have successfully overseen teams of carpenters, scenic artists, art assistants and warehouse managers to realise these designs to strict budgets and deadlines.
I am an expert collaborator and have the ability to thrive as a leader having worked with many different types of people throughout the production process, I have great soft skills in communication to ensure that my team always knows what is expected of them and that I am always there to help them work to the best of their ability and beyond.
I love working with people and helping them realise their potential.
I am a born multi-tasker and keep a cool head under pressure, I am often designing and overseeing multiple projects at a time and I am extremely organised ensuring that budgets and margins are up to date at the end of everyday.
My imagination is one of my key assets and I pride myself on taking a thread of a brief and turning it into something truly fantastical (and within budget of course!) I am able to convey these ideas through various mediums both digital and hand drawn such as freehand sketching, watercolour, and Copic markers to Photoshop, digital painting on my iPad pro, Sketch-up and Vectorworks to name a few.
